About The textile studio

Wood blocking is a wonderful and accessible craft - within a short time you can produce beautiful items in an almost infinite variety of inspirational colours and patterns. It can easily become addictive!

I am an award winning costume designer for television and a textile artist with a passion for creating beautiful things in a variety of media whether fabric, ceramics or paper.

I have been drawn back to print For the sheer love of it’s endless possibilities!

I find the act of making hugely fulfilling - a way to find calm in a frantic world and my wish (mission) is to help others do the same.

I created the textile studio as I love teaching - helping to unlock creativity in others - and having fun while doing so!

the textile studio is based a stones throw from hampton court, in east molesey and is easily accessible via car, train or a short walk from hampton court. there is also a handy carpark behind the studio, and the highstreet is lined with lovely cafes and places to grab a coffee and bite to eat.
