About Caroline

l have always had a passion for print, l have travelled around the world exploring different cultures, broadening my knowledge of other countries varied use of pattern. The incredible diversity of printing techniques and approach to colour in other parts of the world has been an on going inspiration to me. This in turn led me to set up The Textile Studio.

At the Textile Studio, set in a peaceful part of The New Forest my aim is to run courses in an environment that is inspirational and creative, where l can share this passion and help other enthusiasts and students to develop their creative skills.

The Studio's extensive library of Art and Design books, Vintage fabrics and ceramics are available for student's as reference. This passion for print has led me to print my own linens, velvet's and print and paint a wide selection of ceramics.

The Studio's online shop houses products designed by my travels or my love of print and pattern (plus my classic car).
